Hello… I am Jerry Glogowski, Algonquin Village Trustee. My wife Beth and I have lived in Algonquin for 24 years and are proud to call Algonquin home. I have been a member of the Algonquin Lions Club since 2005 and have served two terms as their President. In addition, I work closely with the Environmental Defenders Group and the Fox River Study Groups to share project feedback with the community.
I was first elected to the Algonquin Village Board in 2005. I have brought attention to concerns regarding transportation, business and residential development, water related issues, open space for parks and recreation, among other important issues.
During my four terms in office, I have strived to encourage open communication between Algonquin residents and businesses. I value all input, listen to concerns and ideas, and work together to address today's issues and tomorrow’s opportunities
and challenges.
I will continue to support sound economic policies which put our Algonquin community first, keep our taxes low, and allow for proper checks and balances regarding community services, finances, and overall
Village operations.
As our community continues to grow, it will be vital to pursue solutions regarding future transportation issues, community redevelopment, and sustainable growth within our Village.
Please feel free to reach out to me by phone or email with any questions or concerns. I'd be happy to speak with you and share my vision for our Algonquin Community.
I ask for your support on April 6, 2021.
Thank you,
Jerry Glogowski
